The Animal Technician Conference 2022 has been designed to support the professional development of animal technicians. All attendees are encouraged to engage in networking sessions, to maximise the potential of knowledge exchange, and build relationships with technicians across different specialisms and backgrounds.
The programme includes ‘Day in the Life’ presentations by animal technicians from across the country who work with different species, scientists who use animals in their research, speakers from the Institute of Animal Technology, the Physiological Society, NC3Rs and Understanding Animal Research plus a keynote lecture from ‘The Art of Being Brilliant’. There will also be a panel discussion on Careers, Communication & Care, to allow attendees to ask questions or just listen for advice.
This conference has been conceived and coordinated by early-career animal technicians at the Babraham Institute, ensuring it is tailored for the benefit of those in equivalent academic and commercial roles.
